What is AGM : Annaul General Meeting ?

AGM is a yearly gathering of shareholders of the company, required by the law, for each accounting period in order to inform the shareholders (Owners) about the business – how it is going, future planning and strategies, permission of major and big decisions, knowing the profit and loss status etc.

Board of Directors proposed a reasonable date for the AGM, they also inform and invite the shareholders (in written ) for the meeting before a reasonable days of the meeting’s date.

For Example: All the companies held AGM each year , on that meeting they approve or alter proposed dividend if they wish.
