What is BO : Beneficiary Ownership account ?

BO account is an account by which share holders trade their shares through broker house.

Anyone who wants to trade and invest in the shares must have a BO account in any broker house. When you will open an account to a broker house, the broker house will provide you a Code Number based on this Code Number all of your bought and sold shares will be traded in Secondary Market.

But when you will participate in IPO or Primary market then your share won share will be transferred to your BO ID number provided by CDBL. After trading of shares CDBL transferred shares to this BO ID numbers.
