What is Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ?

Share Market is an “arrangement” for trading of Shares, Bonds and Mutual funds among its members (Broker Houses).

Bangladesh share market is operated and controlled by Security and Exchange Comission (SEC). But SEC does not operate share market directly. SEC control and operate Share market through three (3) organizations :

1. Central Depository Bangladesh Limited (CDBL) and
2. Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE)
3. Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE)

In general share market is a place where BO accounts holders trade shares, bonds and mutual funds with one another.
